About The Position

Inframark's award-winning Automation and Intelligence team delivers cutting-edge solutions in instrumentation and controls, industrial cybersecurity, data analysis, and remote network operations center services for water and wastewater plants. Wheco Controls, an Inframark Company, has an immediate opening for a Journeyman Electrician to lead and execute electrical installations in the water and wastewater industry. This role involves duties such as measuring, cutting, bending and installing EMT conduit, pulling wire, making terminations, setting panels, receptacles, lighting, and fixtures, with an expectation of proficiency and efficiency in bending conduit and setting lighting.

Requirements

Valid Journeyman Electrician License
PLC
Proven ability to lead small teams
Excellent understanding of NEC, safety codes, and industrial wiring
Driver’s license, clean record, and ability to pass a drug screen

Nice To Haves

5+ years of industrial or commercial experience preferred

Responsibilities

Lead installation of MCCs, VFDs, conduit, and power wiring
Installation and Maintenance: Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in commercial and industrial settings, including wiring, panels, circuits, motors, and equipment
Troubleshooting and Repairs: Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical issues, using a variety of tools and techniques to identify and resolve problems efficiently
Compliance with Codes and Standards: Ensure all electrical work adheres to local, state, and federal electrical codes, safety standards, and building regulations
Blueprint Interpretation: Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to plan and execute electrical installations and upgrades
System Upgrades and Modifications: Upgrade and modify existing electrical systems to improve performance or meet new requirements, such as adding outlets or equipment
