About The Position

Hunt Electric, Inc. is searching for a full-time Journeyman Electrician to join our team within our electrical division. This job is for our Big Horn Data Center in Sparks Nevada. We are offering Hourly pay, Per Diem and the possibility for over time. In the position of Journeyman Electrician, you would be responsible for planning, design, organization, and execution of electrical construction projects with the ability to adapt to changing codes, regulations, and safety requirements.

Requirements

Must have a minimum of 5 years in the trade.
Ability to pass a background check, drug and functional capacity test.
Extensive knowledge of the National Electrical Code.
Have all tools for the trade.

Responsibilities

Relevant experience in commercial and residential electrical.
Ability to lift up to 100lbs.
Can read and understand blueprints well.
Can bend up to 1 1/2" conduit.
Install electrical components and equipment.
Be able to work independently.
Effectively and efficiently diagnose and repair electrical issues.
Demonstrate an aptitude for learning, goal-oriented mindset for continual growth, with a “Can-Do” positive attitude.
Ability to mentor apprentice electricians on the jobsite.
Actively contributes to a positive team environment.
Demonstrates dependability with regular attendance and compliance to scheduled work hours.
Other duties or locations as assigned by Manager.
