About The Position
Skillforce is currently seeking experienced Journeyman Electricians for an ongoing commercial construction project in Clarksville, IN. This is a long-term opportunity for skilled electricians who can work independently and lead by example on a fast-paced job site.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Journeyman Electrician
- Strong commercial electrical background
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Knowledge of NEC codes and safety standards
- Must have reliable transportation and basic tools
Nice To Haves
- OSHA certification is a plus
Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair commercial electrical systems
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and electrical drawings
- Run conduit (EMT, rigid), wire, and terminate devices
- Install panels, switchgear, and lighting systems
- Ensure all work meets NEC codes and job site standards
- Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues as needed
