Key Responsibilities Install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain industrial electrical systems and equipment Maintain and repair electrical distribution systems, motors, motor controls, and control panels Diagnose electrical issues using test instruments such as multimeters, voltmeters, ohmmeters, and oscilloscopes Test electrical systems and verify continuity of circuits to ensure safety and proper functionality Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams Connect wiring to breakers, transformers, motors, and other industrial components Perform preventative maintenance on electrical systems and equipment Ensure compliance with electrical codes, plant safety standards, and company policies Maintain accurate service and repair records Respond to routine and emergency maintenance calls Assist in training or mentoring other maintenance team members as needed Qualifications Valid Journeyman Electrician Card (required) 5+ years of industrial electrical experience in a manufacturing or plant environment Strong troubleshooting skills with motors, controls, and electrical distribution systems Experience working with 480V and 3-phase power systems preferred Ability to read electrical schematics and technical documentation Comfortable working in heavy industrial environments Work Environment & Physical Requirements Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces Exposure to industrial noise, heat, and manufacturing conditions Required use of PPE (hard hat, safety glasses, steel-toe boots, etc.) Ability to lift up to 50 pounds Ability to stand and walk for extended periods You should be proficient in: Electrical Troubleshooting Skills 120/208/240/480 Voltage Systems Journeyman’s License Electrical Troubleshooting
