About The Position

Livingston Parish Public Schools is now accepting applications for the position of Journeyman Electrician at the Central Office. This role involves performing maintenance and custodial tasks related to electrical systems within the school district.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED Equivalent.
• Extensive knowledge in single phase, three phase, and 277-volt systems.
• Formal training plus five (5) years' experience in electrical work.
• Experience with 'hot work'.
• Valid LA driver's license and clean driving record.

Nice To Haves

• Licensed electrician.
• Experience with educational facilities.
• Preferred experience in commercial and educational facilities.

Responsibilities

• Perform electrical tasks in residential, commercial, and industrial settings.
• Utilize a man lift, ladders, and other electrical equipment as required.
• Respond to call outs, including weekends and holidays.
