About The Position

A Journeyman Electrician Service Technician II job is available with The City of Fort Worth Property Management Department in the Facilities Division. The City of Fort Worth Property Management Department, Facilities Division, provides City Departments with world class facility planning, design, construction, renovation and maintenance service. The selected candidate must have the ability to utilize appropriate tools in performing electrical duties, read and interpret blueprints and drawings, understand and apply electrical codes, follow written and verbal instructions, work in confined spaces, lift and carry up to 50 lbs., work at considerable heights, climb and work from ladders and scaffolding. This position will be for the New City Hall Class A high rise facility.

Requirements

• High School Diploma / GED supplemented by specialized training in electrical or a related field
• Two (2) years of increasingly responsible electrician experience
• Possess a valid Class 'C' driver's license and an acceptable driving record
• Must possess a State of Texas Journeyman Electrician License
• Ability to work in confined spaces
• Ability to climb and work from ladders and scaffolding
