With a focus on innovation and customer relationships, Helix Electric is seeking a dynamic Journeyman Electrician to join their team. This role is essential for maintaining the company's high standards of service and technical expertise. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing electrical installations and troubleshooting in commercial and multi-family residential settings. This includes the assembly, installation, maintenance, and testing of electrical equipment and wiring systems. The electrician will prepare work areas for equipment installation, install electrical components, and connect wiring and equipment according to code and job specifications. The role requires proficiency in operating various tools and equipment, including hydraulic benders and power pullers, and the ability to read blueprints and electrical drawings accurately. In addition to technical skills, the position demands strong communication and interpersonal skills, as the electrician will work closely with team members and other stakeholders. The role also requires adherence to safety protocols, including the use of personal protective equipment and compliance with building codes. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial and/or multi-family electrical installation, demonstrating the ability to work in various environmental conditions and perform physical tasks effectively.
