In January 2025 we partnered with fast growing, Georgia-based Brittain Electric, a professional electrical contractor with nearly 20 years of experience installing and servicing all types of electrical systems required for commercial and government facilities. Brittain Electric's team of seasoned professionals are committed to offering the most reliable services and systems to meet your needs, from commercial lighting and new construction, to power distribution systems, tenant build outs, general electrical installations and more. Brittain Electric is looking for a best-in-class Journeyman Electrician willing to roll up their sleeves and exude a passion for the field.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience installing and maintaining electrical systems.
  • Must have knowledge of NEC (National Electrical Code) and OSHA safety standards.
  • Experience working directly with clients, exhibiting a high level of customer service and professionalism.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Must be organized, able to multi-task, work both independently, and be a team player.
  • Ability to pass a Federal credentialing background check for work completed at government facilities.

Responsibilities

  • Troubleshooting and repairing various types of equipment/components such as PLC and DCS systems, AC and DC VFD's, motor controls, lighting and distribution systems.
  • Conduct sequential tests to determine malfunctions, analyze operations of electrical equipment, or systems.
  • Utilize electrical test equipment such as infrared, ultrasonic and data logging devices, as well as voltmeter, ammeter and ohmmeter.
  • Install and bend various types of conduits (EMT, Rigid, Aluminum).
  • Setup and pull wire/cable & Terminate power, control, and instrumentation wire and cable.
  • Operate, maintain, and work in close proximity to various power equipment, including, but not limited to, forklifts, man-lifts, excavators, drills, saws, hydraulic tools and automatic machinery.
  • Display exceptional customer service with clients and team members.
  • Work from various heights via platforms, scaffolds, ladders, or man-lifts.
  • Bend and stretch, lift, and move heavy objects many times across a shift.
  • Must be safety conscious.
