Our work depends on you, as a Journeyman Electrical Engineer, joining the Navy and Marine Corps Sector to be a part of a multi-disciplinary team of highly skilled individuals to provide solution engineering, server administration, configuration management (CM), infrastructure, applications development/operations support, and cybersecurity/Information Assurance (IA) support for Tactical and Remote Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Cyber, and Intelligence (C5I) Edge Systems (TARCES) projects. As a Journeyman Electrical Engineer, you will Research, design, develop, test, or supervise the manufacturing and installation of electrical equipment, components, or systems for commercial, industrial, military, or scientific use.

Requirements

  • Possess and maintain a DoD Top Secret (TS) clearance with Special Compartmentalized Information (SCI) eligibility.
  • Ability to obtain a Department of Defense Common Access Card.
  • Excellent problem solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Strong written, verbal, and telephonic communication skills.
  • Excellent research and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or an engineering discipline.
  • Three (3) years or more experience with at least one of those years’ experience designing, testing, or installation of electrical equipment, components, or systems for DoD communication systems or networks.

Responsibilities

  • Design, test, inspect, and update electronic systems, components, equipment along with software.
  • Analyze customer needs and determine the requirements, capacity, and cost for developing an electrical system plan or product.
  • Evaluate systems and recommend design modifications or equipment repair.
  • Inspect electronic equipment, instruments, and systems to make sure they meet safety standards and applicable regulations.
  • Draft specifications, instructions, and reports.
  • Partner with other internal and/or external stakeholders as well as clients to ensure projects are successfully completed to specifications.
  • Stay abreast of emerging trends and technology.
