About The Position

The Journeyman Electrical Engineer will perform technical analysis associated with the assigned task area for problems with specific objectives and requiring investigation of a limited number of variables. The engineer will make recommendations on technical alternatives, component design or selection, and/or adaptation to meet assigned requirements. Duties will be performed under the supervision of senior engineer(s), and the engineer will follow, perform, and record the results of the execution of a test plan. Other duties may be assigned as necessary.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in relevant engineering or science discipline required.
• Degree in Electrical Engineering preferred.
• 2+ years of professional experience in the required task area.
• Experience with Agile, CMMI/TSP/PSP, AS9100, or other process models for software development.
• Knowledge of reading and creating schematics and requirements documents.
• Familiarity with software configuration management/defect tracking tools and peer reviews.
• Knowledge of computing systems and software structure.
• Experience creating flowcharts, diagrams, and other documentation in IBM DOORs or Microsoft Office.
• Experience with DoDAF and modeling/simulation tools (e.g., CORE, Genesys, Azure, Jira, Confluence) is helpful.
• Knowledge of formal test planning, procedures, execution, and reporting is helpful.
• Military aircraft experience preferred.
