About The Position
We are seeking a skilled and dependable Journeyman Carpenter for an overnight position. The ideal candidate has strong hands-on experience, including cabinet building and installation, and takes pride in precision and craftsmanship.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a journeyman or experienced carpenter
- Strong knowledge of carpentry techniques, tools, and materials
- Ability to work independently during overnight shifts
- Excellent attention to detail and craftsmanship
- Reliable transportation and punctuality
Responsibilities
- Reading and interpreting blueprints, drawings, and schematics
- Measuring, marking, and cutting materials accurately
- Cutting, shaping, and assembling materials using hand and power tools
- Building, assembling, and installing cabinets (custom and/or pre-fabricated)
- Repairing, remodeling, or renovating existing structures or furniture
- Selecting and using appropriate wood, hardware, and materials for each project
- Maintaining a clean, safe, and organized job site
- Collaborating with other professionals such as project managers, architects, and engineers as needed
