About The Position

The Joints / Packaging Associate at Colorado Cannabis Company is responsible for the preparation, labeling, and packaging of infused cannabis products. This full-time position requires maintaining cleanliness and organization within the production area while ensuring compliance with company policies and Colorado regulations. The role involves working closely with the Production Lab Manager and requires attention to detail and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

  • Previous experience working within a MIP operation is preferred.
  • Specific joint packaging and manufacturing experience.
  • Must be detail-oriented and able to multitask.
  • Previous experience working within a cGMP facility is preferred.
  • ServSafe certified.
  • Colorado MED Badge required.
  • Familiarity with current Colorado regulations and understanding of regulatory requirements for MIP operations.
  • Possesses physical dexterity necessary to assemble small and delicate products.
  • Works efficiently and manages time effectively.
  • Pays close attention to detail and identifies problems or malfunctions with equipment.
  • Exhibits ability to work cautiously but efficiently.
  • Familiarity with all lab safety procedures and guidelines (PPE, OSHA, Fire and HazMat) preferred.
  • Possesses physical strength and stamina required to stand, walk, and lift for long periods of time.

Responsibilities

  • Regular communication with the Production Lab Manager to ensure operational needs are met.
  • Joint prep and packaging of infused cannabis products.
  • Maintain cleanliness of equipment and workstations, including shared areas.
  • Monitor inventory and alert management when supply levels are low.
  • Assist in inventory counts and audits.
  • Maintain compliance in all processes and procedures and recommend improvements.
  • Support and adhere to cGMP facility certification.
  • Perform all stages of processing syringes and cartridges.
  • Apply labels to all products and conduct portioning per SOPs.
  • Plan and lay out work to meet packaging and fulfillment schedules.
  • Work as part of a team to meet production schedules.
  • Follow the company's SOPs and perform other official duties as assigned.
