The Joint Use Administrator is responsible for securing, negotiating, and managing agreements that authorize communications providers to attach facilities to poles owned by electric utilities, telecommunications companies, and municipalities. The role aligns legal, regulatory, engineering, construction, and financial requirements to enable timely network deployment while ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local rules (e.g., FCC pole attachment regulations, state commission rules, NESC), safeguarding safety and reliability, and optimizing cost, schedule, and risk. This role serves as the primary liaison among utilities, internal network engineering and construction teams, external attachers, and municipal authorities to drive end-to-end attachment lifecycle performance.
