About The Position

KBR is seeking a Joint Tactical Ground Station (JTAGS) Instructor to join a high-performance team supporting Mission Delta 4 in Aurora, Colorado (Buckley Garrison). Active TS/SCI security clearance is required to be considered for this position. The desired candidate will possess current knowledge/experience with JTAGS, experience with the government client, and possess instructor qualifications and certifications.

Requirements

  • An active TS/SCI clearance is required to be considered for this position, which is something only a U.S. citizen can obtain.
  • 3 years of operations experience with JTAGS.
  • 3 years of experience with curriculum development and instruction.
  • Experience with Instructional System Design.
  • Experience utilizing the Standard Space Trainer as an instructor.
  • Familiarity with USSF training and evaluations regulations and documentation.
  • Ability to work projects unsupervised.
  • Strong writing, speaking and briefing skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.

  • Associate or bachelor's degree desired.

Responsibilities

  • Support the development of JTAGS training curriculum (to include lesson plans, instructional media, visual aids, study guides, knowledge and performance tests, training scenarios, and simulator scripts) following established Higher Headquarters guidance and local customer processes.
  • Perform classroom and performance-based instruction for Qualification Training, Difference Training, and Advanced Training.
  • Aid and support the development of training program source documents, including: student training records, training standardization guidance, Consolidated Task Lists (CTLs), Training and Evaluation Performance Standards (TEPS), plans of instruction, Training System Requirements Analyses (TSRAs), system training plans, Master Task Lists (MTLs), weapon system volumes, Ready Spacecrew Program Tasking Memorandums (RTM), Realistic Training Review Boards (RTRBs), and operations checklists.
  • Operate the Standard Space Trainer (SST) to conduct operations training sessions, to include initial system startup, scenario selection and modification, student session setup, and training event injection (to include nominal and/or fault/malfunction events) in both scripted and ad-hoc sessions.
