About The Position

Joint Operation Planning and Execution Specialist The Opportunity: As a defense mission expert, you’ll bring your leadership, strategic, and military planning expertise to work alongside thought leaders in the DoD on projects for the DoD. You’ll use your skills and expertise to research, develop, analyze, assess, plan, and support the DoD mission area. Work with us to assess, analyze, and plan for the region in support of the mission. Serve as a Joint Operation Planning and Execution System (JOPES) Specialist. The JOPES Specialist is responsible for coordinating and executing the deployment, redeployment, and rotation of forces through the Joint Operation Planning and Execution System (JOPES). This position serves as a subject-matter expert (SME) for automated planning processes supporting Department of War (DoW) contingency and crisis action planning. The specialist ensures accurate documentation of deployment plans, maintains technical expertise in JOPES and related systems, and provides critical analytical and advisory support to senior leadership. Coordinate and execute joint and multinational exercises using the Joint Training System, managing Joint Operation Planning and Execution System (JOPES), Time-Phased Force and Deployment Data (TPFDD), and movement operations. Requirements

2+ years of experience in deployment and redeployment coordination or Time-Phased Force Deployment Data (TPFDD) development
2+ years of experience using and managing the Joint Operation Planning and Execution System (JOPES)
Experience with contingency and crisis action planning processes and policies
Experience with the Global Force Management Allocation Plan (GFMAP)
Experience with database management and automated data processing (ADP) specifications
TS/SCI clearance
HS diploma or GED
Completion of the JOPES Support Personnel Course (JSPC) or JOPES Action Officer Course (JAOC)

Nice To Haves

Experience supporting joint or component command operations
Experience with next-generation global command and control systems (GCCS)
Experience developing or assessing computer programs for planning system applications
Experience providing technical advice and assistance to cross-functional teams
Experience with process improvement initiatives in a military or government environment
Experience with systems testing and fielding in DoD environments
Knowledge of rotational and emergent requirements management in JOPES
Possession of excellent written and verbal communication skills
Bachelor's degree
