About The Position

Linchpin Solutions supports transitioning service members through the Hiring Our Heroes Corporate Fellowship Program by offering hands-on exposure to joint and coalition training operations within the defense industry. This fellowship allows participants to apply their operational experience while learning how JICO training programs are executed and managed in a corporate environment. Clearance: Active DoD Secret Clearance Work Schedule: Onsite Monday-Thursday, Fellowship Overview The JICO Instructor Fellow will support Joint Interface Control Officer (JICO) training efforts and gain exposure to curriculum development, course execution, and joint interoperability coordination. Fellows work alongside experienced instructors and program staff supporting U.S., allied, and coalition forces. Completion of the fellowship does not guarantee employment; however, fellows may be eligible to interview for available positions at the conclusion of the program.

Requirements

  • Associate degree or equivalent experience
  • Ability to obtain and maintain JICO Instructor qualifications (if not already held)
  • Active DoD Secret Clearance

Nice To Haves

  • JICO, JICO Planner, or senior TDL operational experience
  • Military instructor or training experience
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and in team environments
  • Familiarity with joint, allied, and coalition operations
  • Ability to support worldwide training missions

Responsibilities

  • Supporting development, instruction, and maintenance of JICO courseware
  • Assisting with delivery of joint and coalition JICO training courses (CONUS/OCONUS)
  • Coordinating with Combatant Command staffs for exercise planning and preparation
  • Preparing or reviewing OPTASK LINK messages for training events
  • Assisting in Link 16 network design, selection, and modification
  • Observing analysis of multi-TDL architecture performance
  • Supporting configuration management of JICO automated tools
  • Participating in joint and combined interoperability working groups
  • Assisting with course planning, schedules, and student coordination
  • Supporting electronic classroom instruction and multimedia enhancements
  • Supporting Mobile Training Team (MTT) activities as applicable
