The Joint Data Link Network Administrator (JDNA) at JT4, LLC plays a crucial role in supporting the U.S. Air Force and Navy by managing and maintaining the Joint Data Link Network (JDN) systems. This position involves performing field engineering tasks, system administration, and ensuring the operational readiness of electronic equipment and systems under the supervision of senior engineers. The JDNA is responsible for coordinating computer support issues and assisting in the design and maintenance of Data Link hardware and systems.

  • Perform field engineering tasks under general supervision.
  • Manage installation, operations, testing, and maintenance of electronic equipment and systems.
  • Coordinate with the Joint Interface Control Cell (JICC) for system administration matters.
  • Assist in the operation and maintenance of the Joint Data Network (JDN).
  • Design, develop, modify, and analyze Data Link hardware devices and systems.
  • Configure and operate Link-16 host and auxiliary equipment.
  • Perform corrective and preventative maintenance on assigned equipment.
  • Diagnose malfunctions in systems and implement improvements.
  • Perform system administration duties on Unix/Linux equipment.
  • Upgrade and install Windows 7/10 equipment.
  • Conduct Link 16 operations at JTIDS 101 levels.
  • Collaborate with project management and other engineering disciplines on system design and deployment.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
  • Minimum of 3 years of Tactical Data Link/BC3 experience including software/hardware troubleshooting.
  • Knowledge of Link 16 operations at JTIDS 101 level.
  • At least 4 years of applicable Data Link experience.
  • Completion of AJOC (JT-310) course is highly recommended.
  • Associates Degree in Engineering/Computer Sciences or related technical discipline.
  • Minimum of 7 years of technical/professional experience in the specialty field.
  • Proficient in MS Office and web-enabled applications.
  • Strong planning and organizing skills with the ability to work under deadlines.
  • CompTIA Security+ Certification (must attain within six months if not currently held).
  • Professional knowledge of applicable engineering concepts and principles.
  • Experience with Joint Tactical Radio System (JTRS) and Situational Awareness Data Link (SADL).
  • Familiarity with configuration management and quality assurance processes.
