About The Position

The Cyber Electronic Warfare and Space team is currently seeking a Joint Cyberspace Operations Planner 2 in support of an exciting new effort supporting one of our clients that is responsible for unifying the direction of cyberspace operations, strengthening DoD cyberspace capabilities, and integrating and bolstering DoD's cyber expertise.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems Management, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum of five years of experience in a related field.
  • Must possess an active TS/SCI/Polygraph for consideration.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in reviewing strategies, doctrine, policies, directives, and instructions.
  • Experience in developing plans and orders using the Joint Planning Process (JPP).
  • Experience in providing input to briefings and assisting in the coordination of joint operational planning.
  • Experience in developing tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs) and other related documents.
  • Experience in conducting research on current and emerging threats to U.S. Critical Infrastructure.

Responsibilities

  • Review strategies, doctrine, policies, directives, and instructions from higher ups and make recommendations to ensure compliance and/or consideration in planning efforts.
  • Develop plans and orders through the application of operational art and operational design, and by using the Joint Planning Process (JPP), within the milestones, deliverables, and interaction points for plans developed using Adaptive Planning and Execution (APEX) activities.
  • Review draft orders for adherence to Order Procedures, provide feedback to Action Officers, assist in coordinating drafts and approvals.
  • Provide input to briefings, transitioning concepts to execution, and assist in the coordination of joint operational planning in support of combat and contingency plans and operations initiatives.
  • Facilitate resolution that may span multiple areas of responsibility.
  • Develop tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs), CONOPs, COAs, and other related documents related to cyberspace operations.
  • Conduct research of current and emerging threats to U.S. Critical Infrastructure and Key Resources (CIKR) and develop courses of action to defend and protect resources.
  • Participate in Joint Planning Groups (JPGs) and Operational Planning Groups/Teams (OPG/OPTs).
  • Train personnel on DoD planning and orders process.
