The Warfare Systems team is currently seeking a Joint Cyberspace Operations Planner in support of an exciting new effort supporting one of our clients that is responsible for unifying the direction of cyberspace operations, strengthening DoD cyberspace capabilities, and integrating and bolstering DoD's cyber expertise. This contract supports ongoing operations within a combatant command. During periods of conflict, crisis, or other significant operational shifts, mission requirements may change rapidly. Additionally, when staffing adjustments occur, work schedules may need to be modified to maintain essential coverage. Accordingly, work shifts may be adjusted based on customer requirements.

Requirements

  • 0 years of experience with a Bachelors in a related field, or High School Diploma with 4 years of relevant experience.
  • Flexibility to adust shifts as needed to cover 24x7 operations
  • Must possess an active TS/SCI/Polygraph for consideration

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Information Systems Management, Computer Science, or a related discipline with a minimum of three (3) years of experience in developing recommendations and COAs to solve complex cybersecurity problems.
  • DOD 8140/DOD 8570 IAM Level III Certification
  • Specialized education in military joint operations planning through the Joint Information Officer Planning Course (JIOPC), or other similar civilian/military operational planning course
  • Coordinating network defense operations with DOD Component Commands/Services/Agencies/Field Activities, Intelligence Agencies, Law Enforcement, and U.S. Government organizations. Experience performing research and analysis of cybersecurity capabilities to satisfy data protection requirements.
  • Demonstrating expertise on the lifecycle of the network threats, attack vectors and methods of exploitation, the utilization, configuration, and implementation of industry capabilities including web content filters, email security capabilities, Intrusion Detection System, Intrusion Prevention System Security Event and Incident Management, Domain Name System security practices, advanced log analysis, network monitoring, network proxies, firewalls, and Access Control Lists, malware analysis reports, and alerts regarding potential malicious activity.
  • Coordination and support on cyber-related incidents and issues to include Malware Analysis Reports, Alerts regarding potential malicious activity, and Suspicious Contact Reports.
