About The Position

Seeking a Joint Planner to support cyber operations within the US Army FCC JMC in planning and executing Joint and Army activities related to the Command’s experimentation effort as a member of the JMC FCC Support Team.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
  • Four (4) years of previous DoD experimentation experience
  • Must exhibit high performance and capability to work in a team environment
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Project, and Word.
  • Must be able to effectively deliver oral presentations to senior military and civilian leaders
  • Must be willing to work any shift or day of the week as required.
  • Understanding of military protocols and customs is essential
  • Must have the ability to read, analyze, and interpret the most complex documents.
  • Will be required to respond effectively to sensitive inquiries and complaints.
  • Must be able to generate effective oral and written presentations and proposals on complex subjects.
  • Must be able to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
  • An ability to interpret complex customer requirements and attitudes from verbal, non-verbal, and written communication is desirable
  • Applicant will be subject to a US Government security investigation and must meet the eligibility requirements to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance for this position.
  • Secret Clearance.

  • Personally responsible for proper marking and handling of all information and materials, in any form.
  • Shall not divulge any information, or afford access, to other employees not having a need-to-know.

Responsibilities

  • Assist Capabilities Development Integration Divisions (CDIDs), FCC G3/5/7 Project Convergence (PC) and Small Scale Assessments (SSAs) Operational Planning Teams (OPTs) and Experimentation Plan OPT in the planning and execution of PC & SSA activities to address Army Modernization Enterprise learning demands and identify interim solutions.
  • Assist in experimentation plan development that includes modeling, simulation, technical/operational assessments, live fire events and extended live-force on force operations.
  • Assist with identifying promising DOTMLPF-P capability solutions suitable for prototype experiment events.
  • Participate in or execute JMC and CDID Training Working Groups in support Tactics, Techniques, and Procedures, and Training Support Package development, and assist in the conduct of capability training.
  • Support the coordination, planning, and integration of aspects of Multi-Domain Operations with specific expertise in Cyber in the Joint Warfighting Assessment (JWA) and PC exercises.
  • Facilitate the coordination and participation of joint DoD Cyber units in the PC and SSA exercises.
