About The Position

The Registered Nurse at Baptist Health's Joint Center is responsible for the general supervision and coordination of nursing personnel activities during shifts, weekends, and holidays, ensuring quality and continuity of patient care. This role involves utilizing the nursing process for patient assessments, care planning, and intervention performance. The RN will also collaborate with physicians and other healthcare clinicians in planning and implementing patient care. Additional duties within the scope of the role may be assigned.

Requirements

• Degree in Nursing required
• Active RN licensure required
• BLS required
• Ability to observe, assesses, and record work, safety and infection control standards
• Ability to work both independently and in a team environment
• Ability to foster a cooperative work environment
• Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing
• Ability to resolve customer complaints and concerns

Nice To Haves

• BSN degree preferred
• Additional certifications (ACLS, PALS, NRP, TNCC, etc) may be required depending upon area assigned

Responsibilities
