The Joint Capability Analyst will support the Army Future Command's Futures Integration Division by providing analysis and recommendations related to Maneuver Support/Protection across various warfighting functions. The role involves engaging in experimentation, capability/threat analysis, and assisting in the development of the Top Down Modernization Process (TDMP). The analyst will be responsible for managing multiple concurrent efforts and presenting analytical results to senior leadership.

  • Provide Maneuver Support/Protection analysis across the seven warfighting functions.
  • Analyze and recommend developed/developing JCIDS products to the Division Chief and team.
  • Engage in experimentation and capability/threat-based analyses.
  • Assist in the development of the Top Down Modernization Process (TDMP) and its supporting data environment.
  • Conduct Capability Based Assessments (CBA) and produce associated JCIDS products.
  • Document analytical efforts, construct briefings, and present results to senior leadership.
  • Active SECRET Clearance required.
  • Bachelor's degree.
  • 3+ years of experience with CJCSI 3170 series (JCIDS) processes, methodologies, and products.
  • 3+ years of experience conducting Capability Based Assessments.
  • 3+ years of experience with requirements or needs analysis.
  • 5+ years of experience with specific background in Maneuver Support/Protection WFF.
  • 5+ years of documenting analytical efforts, constructing briefings, and presenting results.
  • Working knowledge of TR 71-20.
  • Knowledgeable in Microsoft Office Suite including Teams.
  • Knowledgeable in Database functions.
  • Knowledgeable in statistical programs including Minitab and Excel.
  • Capability Development Training: Capability Developers Course.
  • Masters degree.
  • 3+ years of experience with AFC, Future and Concept Center.
  • 3+ years of analytical study design.
  • Defense Acquisition University Certificates: CLR 101, CLR 151, CLR 250, CLR 252, RQM 110.
