Define and refine system requirements, ensuring integration with multi-domain sensors, data feeds, and missile targeting systems. Support cross-domain data fusion for real-time decision-making and dynamic fire control operations.
  • Fire Control System Development: Provide technical expertise in the design and operation of fire control systems, emphasizing integration with JADC2 platforms such as DoD Advanced Battle Management System (ABMS) and Joint Fires networks. Collaborate with engineering teams to evaluate fire control software, hardware, algorithms, and data processing systems for mission-critical tasks. Adapt fire control processes to ensure they align with JADC2’s joint and multi-operational concept of operations (CONOPS).
  • Mission and Operational Support: Lead efforts to optimize fire control systems for rapid response times, precision targeting, and multi-sensory situational awareness. Align sensor-to-shooter processes within the JADC2 framework to enhance the lethality and efficiency of the Space Based Interceptor program. Support live and simulated operational exercises to validate fire control system capabilities and interoperability.
  • System Testing, Validation, and Compliance: Develop and implement test procedures to evaluate the performance of fire control systems and their integration within the JADC2 ecosystem. Ensure systems adhere to cybersecurity, data synchronization, and communications compliance standards within DoD policies, including RMF and DISA STIGs. Submit system validation reports and performance feedback to leadership for ongoing refinement.
  • Collaboration and Stakeholder Engagement: Interface with program managers, engineers, and government stakeholders to align fire control solutions with JADC2 objectives and program-specific requirements.
