Spaces to join our teaching team in New York don’t open often, and we’re looking for someone ready to bring their energy, passion, and commitment to our mission.   • Develop and deliver a rolling 12-month workshop training plan in New York
  • Provide online tutoring and mentoring for your workshop students
  • Assess and give feedback on student homework
  • Build and lead a small team of workshop assistants to support you and your students
  • Maintain accurate records of student progress in Google Workspace
  • Achieve agreed educational KPIs with your Region Lead Teacher
  • Agree sales targets with your Region Lead Teacher
  • Select and book suitable venues that align with SHA’s brand and student experience
  • Maintain an up-to-date, customer-friendly website and social media presence with workshop listings and SHA links
  • Run marketing and sales campaigns to achieve workshop enrollments
  • Achieve agreed commercial KPIs
  • Hold twice-monthly Zoom calls with your Region Lead Teacher
  • Join monthly Zoom meetings with the wider Associate Teacher team
  • Collaborate with SHA Business Services teams (Marketing, Sales, IT, Finance, Heartfulness, R&D)
  • Check and respond to Slack messages at least 3 days per week
  • Ideally qualified with an SHA Level 2 Practitioner Diploma (exceptional current Level 2 students may also be considered)
  • Previous experience in training/teaching
  • Valid U.S. driver’s license and access to a car (to transport instruments and equipment)
  • Business development or entrepreneurial experience
  • Marketing/sales experience and skills
  • IT literacy (Google Workspace, Outlook, Slack, Zoom, etc.)
  • Modern laptop/desktop with high-speed internet
  • Strong organizational and strategic planning skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proven ability to work effectively in a remote environment
  • Passion for health and wellness through sound healing
  • Friendly, open-hearted, and compassionate approach
  • Willingness to travel across New York and the surrounding areas
  • Capacity to work at least part-time (minimum 3 days per week on average)
