About The Position

Requirements

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education or related field (required or actively in progress)
• Experience in a licensed preschool or early childhood setting
• A professional presence, strong work ethic, and team-oriented mindset
• Clear communication skills and a commitment to reflective practice

• Familiarity with emergent or play-based curriculum approaches

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement engaging, developmentally appropriate curriculum (with paid weekly planning time)
• Build trusting, responsive relationships with preschoolers
• Foster a classroom community rooted in kindness, curiosity, and cooperation
• Observe and document children’s learning to guide instruction and share progress
• Communicate with families regularly to build strong, respectful partnerships
• Maintain a safe, organized, and joyful classroom environment
