About The Position
The John Hancock Actuarial Summer Internship Program 2025 offers a unique opportunity for students to gain hands-on experience in the actuarial field while working in a supportive and flexible environment. This internship is designed for highly motivated individuals who are eager to learn and develop their skills in key actuarial disciplines such as pricing, valuation, investments, risk management, and financial modeling. Interns will be placed in various actuarial departments and will have the chance to participate in a mentorship program with a full-time actuarial student, attend events with speakers from different departments, and network with senior management. The internship runs from May to August and is hybrid, requiring interns to be in the office for core days while allowing remote work on other days. Interns will engage in meaningful work that contributes to the efficiency of the department by completing process improvement projects and presenting their findings to managers and stakeholders.
