About The Position
As the Lead Medical Assistant (MA) at Phoenician Vein and Vascular, you will be an integral part of our rapidly expanding clinic specializing in venous procedures such as vein ablation and sclerotherapy. This position requires a proactive and strategic thinker who can navigate complex situations effectively while contributing to the growth of our clinic. You will be responsible for both patient care and clinic operations, ensuring that our patients receive the highest quality of care in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. In this role, you will assist the physician during various vein-related procedures, preparing sterile instrument tables and conducting patient leg preps. Post-operative care will also be part of your responsibilities, including bandaging and ensuring proper disposal of biohazard materials. You will manage prescription refills and maintain accurate electronic medical records (EMR) to ensure seamless patient care. Your administrative duties will include coordinating and rescheduling procedures, overseeing inventory management, and performing general office tasks such as patient check-in/check-out and handling phone calls. You will also be responsible for maintaining a safe and compliant work environment by adhering to established standards and legal regulations. As a leader, you will mentor and guide less experienced medical assistants, fostering team cohesion and effective communication. Your ability to anticipate and resolve complex issues will be crucial in maintaining the clinic's operational efficiency. Fluency in Spanish is required to assist our diverse patient population effectively.
