About The Position

The General Production position involves various responsibilities related to the setup, operation, and maintenance of production equipment. The role requires attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Employees will be expected to maintain a clean and safe workspace while ensuring quality standards are met for each product. The position may also require working overtime and weekends as needed.

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year working in a manufacturing environment.
• Basic mathematical skills. Must be able to read a tape measurer.
• Must be punctual and willing to work OT and/or weekends when required.
• Be able to work in a non-air-conditioned environment.
• Must be able to pass a criminal background check and pre-employment drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Set up, run, and maintain Chop Saw, Miter Saw, Router and/or Shaper.
• Recognize when maintenance is needed on equipment.
• Help stage, prioritize, and quality check each door upon completion.
• Maintain a safe and clean working environment.
• Knowledge of how to drive a forklift.
• Read work orders efficiently.
• Ability to lift up to 45 lbs.
• Attention to detail. Quality assurance and ability to visibly find defects.
• Communicate in a diverse population in a respectful, informative and professional manner.
• Adapt to an ever-changing work environment.
• Perform other job duties as assigned.
