About The Position

POSITION SUMMARY: The Job Coach provides quality support for individuals with disabilities at their community-based job. By helping to create and promote strong work systems, the goal is to help the participant become as independent as possible. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Review the file for each participant you are scheduled to work with before your shift. Provide travel training as needed, to the CIS office or to new place of employment. Work effectively with your team members, members of the business development team, benefits counseling team, and CIS employees in specialized areas to support participants in the best possible way. Maintain a detailed record of on-site performance by completing case notes daily. Obtain participants schedules and report all schedules and appointments to the scheduling team by the required due date. Report any subsequent changes to the scheduler immediately. Follow schedule as it is sent and alert appropriate people of any changes. Read and respond, if needed, to all CIS emails and text messages in a timely manner. Participate in meetings when scheduled. Train other coaches at job sites, as needed. Report any unusual incidents or employer concerns immediately. Contribute to own skills and knowledge by attending and completing assigned training. Follow schedule as it is sent and alert appropriate team members of any changes. SHIFTS AVAILABLE: Eddystone PA 19022 - As a Job Coach, you will provide direct support to an amazing individual who has been a valued employee at a supermarket for over eight years. He works Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 8:45 AM to 2:00 PM. Your primary goal will be to help promote his independence and enhance his skills in the workplace. You will assist him in gaining and retaining skills while promoting his independence. This position offers a rewarding opportunity to make a positive impact on his work and life. Brookhaven PA 19086 - As a Job Coach, you will be responsible for providing direct support to a young man who has been successfully employed at a home improvement store for over three years. He works Monday through Thursday from 9:45 AM to 2:00 PM. Your primary goal will be to assist him in gaining and maintaining job skills while promoting his independence in the workplace. This rewarding position will allow you to make a significant and positive impact on his life, fostering his growth and independence. Lansdowne PA 19064 - As a Job Coach, you will provide direct support to a young man who has been successfully employed at a warehouse for over four years. He works from Tuesday through Thursday, from 9:45 AM to 2:00 PM. You will assist him in gaining and maintaining essential job skills while fostering his independence in the workplace. This rewarding position offers you the opportunity to make a significant and positive impact on his life, while enhancing his overall work experience. South Philadelphia PA 19145 - We are seeking a female Job Coach to provide support to an amazing individual. You will play a crucial role in providing direct assistance to a very dedicated woman who has been successfully employed at a drug store for over 21 years. She works on Mondays and Fridays from 10:45 AM to 1:30 PM. Your primary goal will be to help her gain and maintain essential job skills while fostering her independence in the workplace. This rewarding position gives you the opportunity to make a significant and positive impact on her life. Norristown PA 19403 - As a Job Coach, you will provide direct support to a young man who has been successfully employed at a convenience store for over three years. He works on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 10:30 AM to 1:00 PM. Your primary role will be to assist him in developing and maintaining essential job skills while promoting his independence in the workplace. Requirements

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent Required.
  • Possess valid driver's license and automobile insurance.
  • Must have access to an automobile and internet access at home.
  • Able to pass all required background checks.

Nice To Haves

  • 1 plus years of experience in Education, Social Services or Business preferred.
  • Ability to effectively use Microsoft Office products, specifically Outlook, Excel and Word.
