Requirements

High School Diploma or equivalency required.
1-3 years of related experience working with youth, vocational training, or related fields.
Valid driver's license (Class C or D).

Responsibilities

Support students in on-campus and community-based job placements
Help students prepare for employment by practicing job applications, interviews, and workplace behavior
Provide on-the-job coaching, supervision, and mentoring during work placements.
Assist in developing independent living skills , including budgeting, scheduling, and managing daily responsibilities.
Collaborate with school staff, residential teams, and employers to ensure student success.
Serve as a liaison between students and job sites , building strong relationships with community employers.
Support classroom activities and vocational programs like culinary or industrial arts.
Monitor student progress and adapt coaching strategies to meet individual needs.
Provide transportation and support for off-campus work activities
Use therapeutic and behavioral strategies, including Therapeutic Crisis Intervention (TCI) , when needed
