Join Our Team as a Job Coach in San Diego County! The Arc of San Diego is seeking a Job Coach to support individuals with disabilities in their workplaces. You will teach workplace skills, foster independence, and ensure individuals meet employer expectations while creating a supportive environment for long-term job success. Location: Chula Vista elementary School (bus detailing) Pay: The pay for this position is $21.00 to $21.65. Schedule: The schedule for this position is Mon- Fri 9a-1:30p. You can balance providing support while encouraging independence.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- One (1) year of experience working with individuals with disabilities preferred.
- Valid California Driver’s License, auto insurance, and a clean driving record.
Nice To Haves
- Are bilingual in English and Spanish.
- Have experience with case management systems (Therap preferred).
Responsibilities
- Coaching individuals to develop job skills and workplace behaviors.
- Monitoring progress and adjusting support as needed.
- Ensuring quality and efficiency in work tasks.
- Documenting progress and communicating with employers and case managers.
