About The Position

United Ability is an organization that provides a variety of services to individuals with disabilities. We are currently seeking candidates to join our team as a Job Coach assisting in job coaching and developing students and youth with disabilities at Pre-Apprenticeship worksites. Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Current driver’s license required.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to communicate with students with disabilities are required.

Nice To Haves

• Experience working with employment accommodations preferred.
• Background in networking and building positive relationships with companies in the community preferred.
• Experience working with individuals with disabilities is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Communicates with employers to build rapport and to maintain positive relationships.
• Counsels with parents/caregivers about job expectations.
• Assists with job interview/training.
• Accommodates/trains candidates in use of technology
• Provides onsite support through job coaching.
• May work in hot or cold environments, outdoor work may be required, maybe required to stand for a full 4-hour shift.
