About The Position

Hope Network is seeking a Job Coach to join their team. The organization serves over 2,800 professionals across 280 locations, providing hands-on care, medical treatment, and behind-the-scenes assistance to help individuals overcome challenges and create comebacks. The Job Coach will play an integral part in supporting individuals by monitoring work performance, coordinating adjustments, providing transportation, assisting with personal care, and offering vocational supports in various settings.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• Valid State of Michigan driver’s license required
• Ability to lift 50 lbs
• Ability to pass background checks as applicable
• Ability to become certified in CPR/First Aid
• Possess basic computer skills

Nice To Haves

• 3-5 years of experience working with persons with disabilities preferred in a vocational setting

Responsibilities

• Monitor quality and general work performance, and coordination to make necessary adjustments to given task and environmental modifications to ensure consumer success
• Transportation and Participation in Community Activities
• Personal Care/Assistance with Activities of Daily Living
• Provide vocational supports in a variety of settings; community and facility based
• Encourages independence and building of natural supports within the work environment
• Maintain a productive working relationship with host companies and employers
