About The Position

We are currently seeking a Job Coach - FLOATER to join our team. In this role, you will provide essential job coaching services across San Diego County, working in both community-based and center-based work settings. You will play a vital role in supporting clients’ employment goals while ensuring program continuity during the absence of regular job coaches. Schedule: Varies Location: Varies throughout San Diego County Pay: The pay for this position is $21.50 to $21.50. This is a 4 month temp assisgment. Passionate about working with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD) and helping them achieve independence. Able to communicate effectively, solve problems, and adapt quickly to changing situations. A Typical Day Will Include: Filling in for Job Coaches at various work sites across San Diego County, ensuring clients receive continuous support. Providing job coaching and supervision to clients in group settings, helping them succeed in their employment roles. Supporting the Employment Services team with administrative duties and employment site development projects. Participating in staff and client meetings, communicating progress and updates to the team. Ensuring the safety and welfare of clients and staff, maintaining a safe and orderly environment. What You’ll Need to Be Successful:

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • One year of experience working with individuals with I/DD or in job coaching roles is highly preferred.
  • Valid California Driver’s License with a clean driving record, along with access to a reliable vehicle.
  • Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs and physically assist clients as needed.
  • Current CPR/First Aid certification (or ability to obtain upon hire).

Nice To Haves

  • Have experience using electronic case management systems, such as Therap.
  • Are bilingual (English/Spanish).
  • Have knowledge of vocational programs and Individualized Service Plans (ISP).
