The JMP Documentation Team is looking for a Technical Writer summer intern! As an intern, you may: Update and develop information that describes the capabilities of JMP software and shows how to use the software to achieve business goals. Work on deliverables that address the needs and preferences of the target audience for a given JMP product or offering. Follow company style guidelines to provide a good experience for all customers. Work with the Documentation Team to contribute to the overall quality of the documentation.

Requirements

  • Strong communication skills – both written and verbal.
  • Targeted majors: Journalism, English, any science major with communications experience and interest.
  • Strong organizational and creative problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent writing, editing, and copyediting skills.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and proactively.
  • Keen interest in exploring creative approaches to science communication and storytelling.
  • Curiosity and passion for science and technology.
  • You’re a college student enrolled in an accredited program, not graduating prior to December 2026.
