HII's Mission Technologies division is seeking a qualified individual to fill the role of a Navy Continuous Training Environment (NCTE) JLVC Capability Manager within their Live, Virtual and Constructive (LVC) Solutions Group (LSG). This position is crucial for supporting operational testing, development, and integration of Navy and Marine Corps LVC training systems, ensuring they are compatible, interoperable, and meet the Fleet's training needs. The role is based at the I MEF Battle Simulation Center (BSC) located at Camp Pendleton, CA. The successful candidate will provide subject matter expertise on the capabilities of Joint Live Virtual Constructive (JLVC) federate simulations and tools, facilitating effective employment of these systems to meet specified training objectives. In this role, the individual will be responsible for providing training to BSC staff and end users, which includes installation procedures, initialization, user roles, and participation in training events. The position also involves conducting continuing education activities to ensure awareness of emerging JLVC capabilities and planned development roadmaps for existing capabilities. The JLVC Capability Manager will initialize and employ instances of JLVC federate simulations to meet training objectives and manage local simulation artifacts, ensuring alignment with Marine Corps Training and Education Command (TECOM) standards. Additionally, the role requires supporting the continuous refinement of enterprise documentation regarding JLVC federates' capabilities and best practices for their implementation in various LVC training constructs. The individual will also assist the Federation Manager in federating instances of JLVC simulations and tools to meet training objectives. Flexibility is essential, as duties and responsibilities may be adjusted to meet business, customer, and contractual requirements.
