We’re seeking a Jira & Atlassian Tools Administrator to support, enhance, and optimize our tools ecosystem—spanning Jira, Confluence, and related integrations. In this role, you’ll partner with leadership, project managers, IT and business stakeholders to design and implement solutions that connect systems, automate workflows, and ensure data flows seamlessly across the enterprise. You’ll play a critical role in improving visibility, and empowering teams to focus on what matters most—strategic delivery and outcomes.

Requirements

  • 3–6 years of experience in Jira administration, Atlassian tools integration, or a similar technical role.
  • Hands-on experience with Jira and Confluence.
  • Familiarity with ServiceNow, Workday, or other enterprise systems integration.
  • Solid understanding of project management and PMO functions (Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid frameworks).
  • Experience automating workflows and improving tool usability to reduce administrative overhead.
  • Ability to translate user and process requirements into technical configurations.
  • Proficiency with Power BI, Excel, and collaboration tools (Teams, SharePoint).
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Atlassian certifications (ACP-610, ACP-620, ACP-420, or equivalent).
  • Experience with scripting languages (e.g., Python).
  • Experience with data visualization and analytics integration (e.g., Power BI).

Responsibilities

  • Integration & Automation Serve as the subject matter expert for Jira, Confluence, and related Atlassian tools.
  • Design, develop, and maintain integrations between Atlassian tools and other enterprise platforms (e.g., ServiceNow, Workday, Power BI, SharePoint).
  • Use APIs, web services, or integration platforms to streamline data exchange.
  • Implement automation rules, scripts, or workflows to reduce manual effort and improve accuracy.
  • Ensure compliance with governance, access control, and data management policies.
  • Process & Governance Partner with PMO, portfolio teams, and IT Operations to align Jira workflows with established project and portfolio methodologies.
  • Translate business requirements into tool configurations that enforce governance, standardization, and reporting consistency.
  • Maintain documentation, user guides, and training materials to drive adoption and best practices.
  • Monitor user adoption trends to identify and implement continuous improvements.
  • Conduct periodic audits of configuration, data integrity, and integration effectiveness; recommend and implement enhancements.
  • Reporting, Analytics & Insights Build and maintain dashboards and reports in Jira, Confluence, and Power BI that provide visibility into portfolio health, risks, and KPIs.
  • Enable integration of Jira/Confluence data with enterprise reporting environments.
  • Deliver actionable insights that inform resource allocation, project prioritization, and process improvements.
