About the position
Paden Schools is a small rural school in Okfuskee county. Average class size is 16. We are looking to hire a JH/HS Science teacher for 7th-12th grades. Additional duties are possible, including some coaching of athletic or academic teams, if the candidate is interested.
Responsibilities
- Teach science courses to 7th-12th grade students
- Develop and implement lesson plans
- Assess student learning and progress
- Provide individualized support to students as needed
- Participate in professional development opportunities
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Science or related field
- Teaching certification in Science (7-12)
- Experience teaching middle school and high school students
- Ability to work with diverse student populations
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
