About The Position

Instruct, monitor and assist progress of students in content area for JH Band and beginner band, assist HS Band Collaborate with peers and administrators for improved instructional strategies to meet campus and District goals

Requirements

• Experience Preferred
• Bachelor's Degree Required
• Valid Texas Teaching Certificate for Subject Area Required

Responsibilities

• Work closely with lead band director to build and maintain successful band program.
• Collaboration with campus intervention teams
• Provide flexible instruction and support to meet the needs of diverse learners
• Maintain accurate and complete paperwork requirements
• Assist campus staff with development of supplemental aides and resources for students
• Establish and maintain a positive and collaborative relationship with campus staff, students, and parents
• Monitor and report student progress to appropriate staff as needed
• Attend and participate in campus and district wide initiatives to improve the educational process
• Other duties as assigned
