About The Position
The JFS Manager - Children's Services (Kinship Engagement Supervisor) is responsible for supervising Kinship Coordinators and Kinship Program Specialists, overseeing kinship assessments, and ensuring enhanced family engagement and casework decisions. This role involves developing and sustaining policies and procedures related to Kinship, monitoring their application, and collaborating with Children's Services managers to support kinship placements. The supervisor will also build effective relationships with clients and colleagues, demonstrate competence in court procedures, and may serve as the agency spokesperson for applicable programs. The position requires attending conferences and training and performing other related duties as assigned.
