About The Position

We are seeking a knowledgeable and customer-focused Jewelry Technical Specialist to assist customers with jewelry-making equipment, tools, and related products. The role involves providing technical support, troubleshooting, product demonstrations, and training to help customers maximize the value of their purchases. The ideal candidate has a strong background in jewelry-making techniques and experience with industry tools and machinery.

Requirements

  • Experience in jewelry-making, metalsmithing, or related technical fields.
  • Familiarity with jewelry-making tools, equipment, and machinery (e.g., soldering equipment, engraving machines, polishing tools, casting equipment).
  • Technical Expertise: Strong understanding of jewelry-making tools and processes.
  • Customer Service Skills: Ability to communicate technical information clearly to customers with varying skill levels.
  • Problem-Solving: Analytical skills to troubleshoot issues and recommend solutions.
  • Training & Presentation: Experience conducting demonstrations or training sessions.
  • Technology Proficiency: Familiarity with CRM systems, troubleshooting software, and digital content creation tools.

Nice To Haves

  • Prior experience in technical support, customer service, or product training is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Assist customers with troubleshooting and technical questions regarding jewelry-making tools and equipment.
  • Provide guidance on proper use, maintenance, and safety procedures for products.
  • Offer remote and in-person assistance to resolve product-related issues effectively.
  • Document customer inquiries and resolutions to improve product knowledge and support processes.
  • Conduct product demonstrations and training sessions for customers and internal teams.
  • Develop instructional guides, FAQs, and video tutorials on jewelry-making tools and techniques.
  • Stay up to date with new product features, industry trends, and emerging technologies.
  • Support the sales team by recommending the right tools and equipment based on customer needs.
  • Assist customers in selecting appropriate products for their projects or businesses.
  • Gather customer feedback to improve products and services.
  • Perform basic troubleshooting and minor repairs on tools and equipment.
  • Coordinate with manufacturers and vendors for advanced repairs or warranty claims.
  • Ensure proper inventory and tracking of replacement parts and consumables.
