About The Position

This position is responsible for sorting, cleaning, and processing jewelry, cosmetics, glasses, and hair accessories.

Requirements

• Respond to telephones, written correspondence, and other auditory and visual stimulation.
• Remain calm under stress and have the emotional and physical stamina to deal with a variety of stressful situations.
• Frequently sit, stand, bend, kneel, and walk.
• Frequently lift and carry items of at least 40 pounds.
• Occasionally climb stairs or inclined surfaces.
• Occasionally work outside during night hours and/or inclement weather.

Responsibilities

• Produce quality jewelry and cosmetics items by cleaning, pricing, and placing on the sales floor.
• Keep counters stocked, neat, and stock rotated.
• Responsible for producing seasonal jewelry and cosmetics.
• Assist donors as they arrive.
• Maintain accurate records of donations and issue completed donation receipts to all donors.
• Assist with the security and the safety of store property.
• Demonstrate professionalism and presents a friendly, cooperative attitude towards customers, donors, and co-workers.
• Ability to multi-task, make quick decisions and work in a team oriented, fast paced environment.
• Must be punctual and have dependable attendance.
• Must conduct work in a safe manner; maintain good housekeeping standards, have all aisles and pathways to fire extinguishers, and exits clear from clutter.
• Always follow all policies and procedures.
• Other duties as assigned
