About The Position

The position involves cleaning and sanitizing the work area in compliance with Jennie-O Turkey Store and USDA regulations. The role requires the use of chemical cleaners, sanitizers, and acids, and includes any additional duties assigned by the supervisor.

Requirements

• Able to work in a Food plant (which may be cold and damp or hot and humid)
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Thorough knowledge of all jobs and chemicals used within the department
• Ability to work with minimal supervision
• Simple math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division) required
• PHYSICAL: Able to climb stairs and/or work on elevated stands or platforms
• Able to lift 50 lbs. on an occasional basis

Nice To Haves

• Knowledge and experience with foaming equipment operation and maintenance
• Specific training and experience in the use of caustics, sanitizers and acids
