This position involves assisting new employees in their training and development within the Scale Link & Patty Area. The role requires a commitment to work hardening and other necessary training to prepare trainees for their positions. Responsibilities include documenting training programs, learning to operate all machines and scales in the department, and providing exemplary work behavior to new employees. The position also involves administering directions for the proper care and use of personal protective equipment (PPE), communicating progress to supervisors, and performing additional tasks as required. The ability to work with pork products is essential.
