Position Summary: The Jenner Jahn Machine Operator is responsible for operating and maintaining Jenner Jahn equipment to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality production. This role also supports training and mentoring of new operators as needed. This Opportunity will train at our Elgin Facility for a few weeks before moving to Aurora
Requirements
- Experience operating Jenner Jahn or similar machinery preferred
- Knowledge of production processes, quality standards, and safety procedures
- Basic mechanical troubleshooting skills
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently or in a team
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Ability to work in a manufacturing environment
Responsibilities
- Operate Jenner Jahn machinery safely and efficiently
- Monitor machine performance, product quality, and production output
- Perform equipment setup, changeovers, and basic maintenance
- Troubleshoot minor mechanical or operational issues and escalate as needed
- Maintain accurate production and quality records
- Ensure compliance with all safety and company policies
- Assist in training and mentoring new operators
- Communicate production issues, material needs, and downtime to leadership
