The Sanitation Supervisor will supervise, evaluate, and direct personnel on shift in performing operations according to sound operating principles and company policies and procedures. The role involves stimulating maximum safety, efficiency, and productivity of workers while ensuring proper training of employees. The supervisor will anticipate and determine causes of delays in shift operations and take appropriate actions to meet production schedules. Additionally, the supervisor will apply company employee relations and union contract policies in all dealings with employees. Monitoring and confirming that machinery, equipment, and facilities are properly maintained and sanitized for efficient production is also a key responsibility. The supervisor will arrange to have appropriate records prepared and maintained, including payroll, sanitation, and chemicals. Collaboration with other supervisors and management to promote efficiency and teamwork in the plant facility is essential. Attendance at scheduled or called meetings and performing various other duties as needed or assigned are also part of the job.
