About The Position

Infosys is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Java Technology Architect in US to join our team and play a pivotal role in automating business processes and enhancing operational efficiency. As part of this role, own solution design for multiple initiatives, works across domain to ensure cohesive solution, identify gaps in the architecture and solution design, and assess and define remediation efforts or mitigation options. Work toward practical solutions considering all teams, initiatives, and long-term outlook by implementing decisions improving quality, efficiency to achieve revenue, profitability, and strategic goals for the organization. Connect business strategies to technology domains for delivery, maximizing well-defined structure of business processes, products, and capabilities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
  • At least 7 years of Information Technology experience.
  • Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Addison, TX or Newark, DE or Pennington, NJ or Atlanta, GA or be willing to relocate to the area.
  • This position may require travel to project locations.

  • Experience in Java technologies.
  • Experience working in solutions design and enterprise architecture delivering technical solutions.
  • Experience in software engineering/enterprise architecture/technology leadership across multiple products, systems and/or platforms coupled with strong eye for business and executive presence.
  • Experience in Enterprise applications, Product SDLC, middle-tier services, database, storage, distributed computing, virtualization, and/or application technology.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in advising matrixed resources and delivering software, with Agile Scrum methodologies and other commonly used tools, across multiple teams.
  • Agile Project Management Experience with Agile backlog/project management tools.
  • Collaboration Experience with successive elaboration and ability to develop Initiatives, Features and User Stories that the DevOps teams can apply.
  • Product Management Experience implementing large and complex business/technology conversions.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with ability to present complex technical information in a clear and concise manner to a variety of audiences including executives and non-technical leaders.

  • Ability to work in team in diverse/ multiple stakeholder environment
