In short – an essential part of Deutsche Bank’s technology solution, developing applications for key business areas. Our Technologists drive Cloud, Cyber and business technology strategy while transforming it within a robust, hands-on engineering culture. Learning is a key element of our people strategy, and we have a variety of options for you to develop professionally. Our approach to the future of work champions flexibility and is rooted in the understanding that there have been dramatic shifts in the ways we work. Having first established a presence in the Americas in the 19th century, Deutsche Bank opened its US technology center in Cary, North Carolina in 2009. We have several Senior Java/Spring roles available. The Senior Java/Spring Engineer designs and develops application code, implements technical solutions, and configures applications in different environments in response to business problems. These solutions will predominantly be based on the Spring Framework (Spring Boot, Spring JPA, Spring REST, etc.). To meet the requirements of the Business, the Senior Engineer proposes the design and architecture of the application or its components, investigates and proposes appropriate technologies to be used, creates re-usable frameworks, and drives standardization where possible. The Engineer will also lead delivery of other members of the team and will provide technical guidance for their work where applicable.
