About The Position

Mapjects is a leading centralized logistics operations portal platform. The platform servers franchises with ERP components that suite the franchise business needs. Mapjects Clearview platform provide one-click distribution, logistics and analysis products to enrich and visualize big data sets from warehousing, fulfillment, fraud detection, payment technology and b2b eCommerce. This resource will be a key contributor to our Strategic Technology Solutions practice and will support the implementation of a variety of solutions. As a Mapjects Java solution architect this person will represent Mapjects and interact directly with client personnel who are in leadership roles, Directors, VP, and CXO, level resources. This resource must be able to take abstract business problems and issues and turn those into technical solutions. This resource will also be responsible for taking complex technical solutions and breaking those down and communication those to client executives in a business manner and in a structure they understand. This resource must the technical depth and breadth to become the trusted advisor to CXO resources within an IT organization. This resource will also be responsible for engaging with clients on IT strategy and Enterprise Architecture engagements, hence he/she must understand current and future trends in the IT space and must apply practical and pragmatic approaches to positioning those trends/solution with clients and must be able to draw a practical implementation roadmap for clients. In addition this resource will be responsible for architecting solutions after the sales cycle and overseeing the delivery of those solutions. This resource will participate in the analysis, design, development, testing and implementation of SOA-based enterprise integration and workflow solutions, ecommerce solutions, and custom web applications using a variety of tools and technologies. This person will be exposed to the full life-cycle of development and play a hands-on role throughout the life-cycle of the project. This person will have significant interaction with key client personnel. This resource will interact and provide leaderships to the HCC internal Java Development Lead. The candidate should have experience with web service development and frameworks such as Struts, Spring MVC, or JSF; Hibernate or iBATIS; and Spring. Desired skills include experience with Liferay Portal or other similar Java based platform.

Responsibilities

• Solution architecture.
• Deep understanding of technical solutions and the ability to apply those solutions to technical problems
• Technical domain knowledge around Mobility, Cloud and Big data
• Very strong presentation and communication skills as well as executive presence
• Deep understanding of various It strategy and Enterprise Architecture techniques and frameworks
• Good Knowledge of Domain analysis and design, web application and web service development, code and design reviews, database design, framework evaluation and best practice enforcement.
• Must follow SDLC and promote best practices for development such as continuous integration and compliant change management.
• Hands-on design and development for applications and services.
• Coordinate development activities that include leading design activities, lead onsite and offshore development teams and conduct design and code reviews.
• Document all application architecture design and analysis performed.
• Assist application architecture implementation, modification, and enforcement.
• Coordinate development testing activities that include leading unit testing, integration testing, and bug fixes.
• Analyze and troubleshoot issues and defects in both structured and unstructured environments; analyze performance and design inefficiencies.
• Stay abreast of the latest technologies and tools being used to improve IT development and delivery.
