About The Position

We are seeking a highly skilled Software Engineer to join the ZCC Analytics team, a core pillar of the ZCX Suite. This role is essential to advancing our analytics capabilities, supporting a rapidly growing customer base, and driving innovation through modern engineering practices and AI-powered development workflows. Join the Zoom Contact Center (ZCC) engineering team responsible for building and operating critical backend and analytics components that support Zoom’s customer engagement platform. The team develops and operates a large‑scale, cloud‑native SaaS platform used by enterprise customers worldwide, including mission‑critical use cases, with a focus on engineering and technical design, while partnering closely with UX and Product teams.

Requirements

• Possess 3+ years of software engineering experience, ideally with exposure to analytics, data platforms, or distributed systems.
• Possess great proficiency in Java, Spring Boot, and related backend technologies.
• Possess experience with data processing, analytics pipelines, or visualization frameworks is a plus.
• Possess familiarity with cloud-native development, microservices, and performance optimization.
• Demonstrate ability to use AI-powered engineering tools to enhance development efficiency and problem-solving.
• Possess the ability to take ownership of complex systems, make sound technical decisions, and work independently.
• Possess excellent communication and collaboration skills in a dynamic global environment

Responsibilities

• Designing, developing, and maintaining features for ZCC Analytics using Java, Spring, and modern backend frameworks.
• Serving as a technical owner for key Analytics components, contributing to architecture design, implementation, and long-term roadmap planning.
• Leveraging AI-assisted development tools to improve code quality, accelerate feature delivery, and enhance engineering productivity.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver Analytics enhancements that address customer needs and align with product goals.
• Leading or contributing to end-to-end development of new analytics initiatives, including future iterations of the Analytics platform.
• Driving continuous improvement through code reviews, best practices, and operational excellence.
• Supporting production operations by troubleshooting issues, maintaining system stability, and ensuring timely resolutions.
